Texas Property Tax Law is continually changing -- The Texas Legislature in every session has historically made numerous changes to the Texas Property Tax Code, the Texas Attorney General issues numerous rulings throughout the year on issues raised by appraisal districts, taxing jurisdictions, taxpayers and their agents, and new judicial interpretations are continually being made by the courts.
