Results & Statistics
2007 Overall Results
We again achieved a 75% success rate in achieving reductions for our clients on the properties we contested Informally or at an ARB Formal Hearing.
We represented 1,005 homes that were valued over $1,000,000 (or 13% of all the homes in Dallas County in that value range), and these 1,005 homes comprised approximately 1/3 of the 3,000+ homes that we represented. The next closest firms represented only 155, 109, 92, and 76 homes in this value category.
Because we represent that many more homes in this value range it gives us the knowledge base and experience to be most effective in achieving reductions, especially in appeals involving Unequal protests and in situations where the home has been recently purchased. We have often achieved reductions below the purchase price.
2006 Overall Results
We had a 75% success rate in achieving reductions for our clients on the properties we contested Informally or at an ARB Formal Hearing. We achieved approximately 1/4 of the reductions at the Informal level and 3/4 at the ARB Hearing level.
We represent over 16% of the 674 Class 26 homes (the Estate Level and higher-end homes) in Dallas County, significantly more than any other firm. Our 3,300+ clients have a combined property value of over $2.8 billion, and over 1/4 of our clients own homes valued over $1 million.
